Chapter 4711 X Royal Clash (7)

Chapter 4711 X Royal Family: Fierce Battle (Seventeen)

"Come! Let's raise our glasses and congratulate General Vulcan! His strategy has enabled the Shi'ar army to truly set foot on the galaxy's territory. The Shi'ar will avenge their humiliation and make mutants and humans disappear from the universe!"

In the brightly lit banquet hall, a tall figure stood before the guests. He raised his wine glass, and the generals and ministers below also stood up and raised their glasses to the dark-haired man.

"Your Majesty," the Vulcan stepped forward, holding a wine cup, and said, "The success of this campaign is also thanks to Your Majesty's wise decisions. I also toast Your Majesty! Long live the two gods!"

"Long live the Two Gods!" The emperor, seated at the head of the table, downed a cup of wine and slammed it down. He gritted his teeth and said, "As long as we can successfully merge humans and mutants, there will be no more three great empires. The will of the Two Gods will resonate throughout the entire universe, and I will become the sole emperor of the universe!"

"Vulcan!" he shouted again, "I hereby bestow upon you the title of Prince and grant you the seat of the First in the Great Council. You must make mutants and humans submit to the two gods and heed my will!"

Vulcan lowered his eyes, concealing a faint hint of mockery that flashed within them. He only said, "That is to be expected, Your Majesty. But..."

"What? You still have doubts? Do you think the reward I gave you wasn't enough?"

“Oh, no, that’s not it.” Vulcan shook his head and said, “It’s just that if mutants and humans were so easy to take down, the other two great empires wouldn’t have been unable to make any progress. I’m just a little worried about the situation, after all, it’s not surprising that those lunatics would do anything.”

"What?! Are you questioning the bravery of my Feather Clan?!" a minister stood up and said.

"Then why don't you personally lead the team to the Milky Way?" Vulcan asked calmly. "General, you must never be blindly arrogant. Everyone knows that those lunatics in the Milky Way are not easy to deal with. I just hope that His Majesty can send more troops to make sure they have no chance to turn the tables."

The emperor at the head of the table paused for a moment, which was noticed by the Vulcan. He knew that Deken could no longer send troops, because the Shia Empire still needed to suppress the nobles internally, as well as the several ethnic groups they had previously merged with, who were not yet so obedient, and this also required the dispatch of troops to manage them.

But if we don't make things difficult enough, how can we hold him off? He still needs the reinforcements that the devil mentioned. Even if we can't bring Deken down today, we can still throw Mengyu Star into chaos, and then that will be an opportunity to exploit.

As expected, an argument broke out inside. One person said that deploying the personal guards might endanger the security of the capital, while another said that the neighboring star system also needed more people to patrol; in short, they all disagreed with sending troops.

Meanwhile, those who supported attacking the Milky Way also jumped out, emphasizing how evil and dangerous humanity is, and that they must not be given a chance to turn the tide; they should send more troops to press the attack.

Deken was clearly hesitant, fearing harm to the homeland while also wanting overseas interests. Vulcan, meanwhile, was jumping around in the middle, stirring things up everywhere, criticizing this person for disrespecting the emperor and that person for disregarding the overall situation. He turned the entire banquet upside down.

Just as everyone was getting into the middle of their tirade, a soldier suddenly rushed in, screaming, "Your Majesty, it's terrible! Your Majesty! The humans have broken in!!!"

"What?!" Emperor Deken jumped to his feet. "What did you say?!"

Before he could finish speaking, a figure rushed into the banquet hall, revealing his face to everyone, who screamed in horror—it was the Sorcerer Supreme, Stephen Strange!

Vulcan's eyes widened slightly. These were the reinforcements Mephisto had mentioned? But that made sense; these demons dealt with the Sorcerer Supreme, didn't they? He just wondered how much Mephisto had promised the Sorcerer Supreme to get him to attack the capital of Feathered Star.

"Supreme Mage!" Deken was clearly forcing himself to speak, "What brings you to my Fierce Feather Star?!"

Without uttering a word, the Sorcerer Supreme flicked his cloak and appeared before Deckard. The Eye of Agamotto flashed with a blinding light, and a terrifying energy wave rippled out, leaving a gaping hole in Deckard's chest.

Vulcan was secretly alarmed and slowly retreated behind a pillar. He certainly didn't want to miss this golden opportunity to finish off the enemy, but he also dared not approach the Sorcerer Supreme; who knew if he had gone mad?

But such injuries weren't enough to kill Deckard. Realizing the Sorcerer Supreme was truly willing to attack, Deckard dropped the pretense. He pressed a button on his arm armor, and instantly, several enormous crystal statues descended. Vulcan's pupils constricted—he really did have a backup plan!

The Sorcerer Supreme neither dodged nor evaded, his magical energy whipping out like a long whip, instantly sending the crystal statue flying. However, the energy seemed to vanish into thin air, absorbed directly by the crystal statue. Deken let out a maniacal laugh and thrust his sword forward.

Suddenly, a magnetic storm swept across the entire planet Mengyu, affecting all the crystal statues, even causing them to stagger. Deken looked out the door in disbelief, only to be met with a laser beam that cleaved the banquet hall in two.

A tall figure appeared outside the door, his eyes flashing with a chilling red light. When he appeared, Deken and Vulcan both gasped.

"Ninglu?!"

No wonder they were surprised; this thing was supposed to be produced by the master mold to deal with mutants, so how did it end up on Fierce Feather Star?!

Deken and Vulcan simultaneously realized they had stepped into a trap. The Sorcerer Supreme reached out and plunged his palm into Deken's chest. As magical energy expanded, with a bang, the Emperor of the Shi'ar Empire vanished.

Vulcan was both surprised and furious. He looked at Mephisto, who had emerged from behind Nimrod. But Mephisto remained calm and smiled, saying, "Vulcan, or should I call you Gabriel Summers?"

“You…” Vulcan’s expression turned to complete shock, “How could you know…”

“Gabriel.” The towering Nimrod robot suddenly spoke, a voice Vulcan knew all too well. The Sorcerer Supreme also turned to look; he recognized the voice—it was Cyclops Scott’s.

“I’m so sorry,” Cyclops said. “I swear to you, that operation that forgot you was just an accident. Now mutants have established their own nation, and the foundation of our nation is that we will never abandon any mutant.”

“I know that what happened back then hurt you deeply. But please give us a chance to make amends. Everything we did was just to bring you home. My brother, Gabriel.”

Vulcan was stunned for a moment. Then, intense flames erupted from his body, and he flew into the air, his face contorted as he stared at Cyclops, saying, "You don't abandon any mutant?! I always believed you would come to save me, but you just left me there to die!!!"

"No matter how sweet your words, I will never go back with you. I will conquer this country with my own strength and then destroy the earth!"

The Sorcerer Supreme coughed twice, but Vulcan completely ignored him, clearly blinded by rage. Mephisto looked at Cyclops, who clenched his fists, seemingly reluctant. But when Vulcan charged at him, he easily grabbed him by the neck.

The immense energy erupting from Vulcan's body had no effect on him. His Nimrod body was a natural counter to all mutants; virtually no mutant ability could affect him. Therefore, the flames quickly vanished, leaving only a terrified and helpless Gabriel.

"No...no..." He struggled desperately, as if some unpleasant memories had been triggered, "Let me go! Let me go..."

Laser Eyes was heartbroken. He gently put Vulcan down, but the other seemed to have completely lost his mind from the shock and was struggling desperately.

Cyclops looked up at Mephisto. Mephisto walked over, glanced at Vulcan, and said, "Alright, leave him to me."

"You promised that you would never use any violent means."

“No need,” Mephisto said. He cleared his throat and whispered in the panting Vulcan’s ear, “If you don’t come to your senses, we’ll just have someone else become the emperor of the Shi’ar Empire.”

Vulcan's consciousness gradually returned, because he realized one thing: now that the emperor of the Shi'ar Empire was dead, he, who possessed the legitimate status of the Shi'ar Empire, was the most likely to take over.

Power is the best tonic, for anyone. No one could refuse the throne of one of the three great empires, so close at hand. Especially since it was something Vulcan had always desired.

But he wasn't stupid; the other party clearly had ulterior motives. He struggled to his feet, staring at Mephisto's face, and asked, "What do you want?"

Mephisto smiled at him: "Earth."

After sending Vulcan back to the emperor's palace, Cyclops stayed behind to keep him company. The two brothers had plenty of time to catch up, and afterwards they could work together to handle the affairs following the usurpation.

Magneto and Mephisto came out. Magneto looked Mephisto up and down, then said, "I didn't expect you to have this side to you, Doctor."

“Why can’t it be me who looks like that doctor?” Mephisto smiled at him.

“Although I have never dealt with Mephisto, your eyes are really easy to recognize.”

“That’s why I always wear glasses,” Schiller sighed.

"What exactly was your purpose in orchestrating this?" Magneto asked. "Wasn't the entire Shi'ar invasion your doing?"

Schiller readily admitted it, nodding and saying, "I had only been here a short time when I approached Vulcan. He wanted to usurp the throne and become emperor, and I happened to need a war, so we hit it off immediately."

Magneto knew that while the factory did use a significant amount of Shi'ar materials, the way those materials were assembled into the portal and how it opened successfully didn't seem like something the Shi'ar people had done. There must have been someone working on it from the inside, but he hadn't expected that person to be Schiller.

"I said, only a sufficiently powerful external enemy can unite the earth. The strength of the enemy determines how great you are."

“But this will kill a lot of people,” Magneto said. “While I am not a merciful man who looks back and forth, this is clearly dangerous for the entire planet.”

“Clearly you don’t have a clear understanding of the power of the people in the central universe,” Schiller said. “With them around, the solar system won’t be in chaos.”

"'Them'? Who else is there besides you and Iron Man?"

Schiller smiled but said nothing.

"Stephen! You're back!" The main universe's Iron Man stood up in surprise, accidentally aggravating the wound on his arm, and gasped as he sat back down, but his eyes were still fixed on the figure entering the room.

Strange turned around and closed the door, looked the main universe Iron Man up and down, and said, "How did you manage to make yourself look like a dog that just rolled around in the sewers?"

Everyone around froze. Captain America looked at Black Widow, Black Widow looked at Dr. Banner, Dr. Banner looked at Spider-Man, and Spider-Man disappeared onto the roof with a web. Everyone else vanished as well.
