Chapter 4050 MU Superbody Major Event (13)

Chapter 4050 MU: The Superbody Incident (130)

As the light slowly faded, the entire planet was pierced through.

The power of a starship's main cannon is terrifying. According to the Interstellar Weapons Safety Convention, such weapons are strictly prohibited from being fired at ground targets. This is because, although many starship main cannons cannot destroy a planet in one shot, they can severely destabilize it, ultimately leading to its disintegration or explosion.

Even a reckless civilization like Asgard, possessing planet-destroying weapons like the Rainbow Bridge, generally only uses these weapons for boarding maneuvers, rather than directly attacking enemy homeworlds. This is because such weapons are too destructive; launching them at a planet's surface is tantamount to genocide.

No society with any semblance of order can accept such slaughter and extermination. To do so would be tantamount to cutting oneself off from interstellar society and becoming an enemy of the universe.

So even though the Kree Empire and the Skrull Empire fought a thousand-year war, they never once directly fired their starships' main cannons at a densely populated planet.

However, this record was broken today. A starship belonging to the Interstellar Security Committee fired directly at the most densely populated market planet in the Centaurus constellation, successfully piercing through the planet.

Fortunately, the target location wasn't directly opposite the largest market, but rather some distance away. Even so, the planet's structure was completely destroyed. After being pierced, the planet began to vibrate rapidly, on the verge of disintegration.

Constantine, who was in the central tower, was jolted off his chair. He had just gotten up when he was knocked down again, his head hitting the corner of the table and bleeding profusely.

But he still scrambled to his feet and rushed to the window, just in time to see the beam of white light that hadn't yet dissipated.

“My God…” Constantine in the main universe was dumbfounded. But before he could even notify Batman, the entire central tower collapsed.

In the main universe, Constantine only had time to cast a magical shield on himself. Even so, being buried under hundreds of tons of building materials resulted in several broken ribs. When he crawled out of the rubble, he nearly died on the spot.

But that's no longer the key issue. The planet's surface has cracked open and is still shaking continuously, roughly equivalent to a magnitude 13 earthquake by human standards. Any creature without the ability to fly would have a hard time standing on it.

Fortunately, the creatures that can roam the black market in space are certainly not weak; most of them own a spaceship. From the moment the earthquake struck, they rushed towards their spaceships. Countless spaceships took off from the surface, ignoring the blockade imposed by the Interstellar Security Committee, and flew outwards as fast as they could.

As one of the few without a spaceship, Constantine in the main universe could only leave using magic. He teleported to a relatively distant satellite, where he finally saw the culprit behind the planet's disintegration—a starship whose main cannon hadn't fully cooled down.

"My God, has Thanos gone mad?!" Constantine from the main universe exclaimed. "Using the main cannon to attack planets?! This is utter genocide!"

But just then, he saw an octopus wobble out of the starship. And the octopus's size and coloration were very familiar; it was none other than Tolos, the man he had spent a night with not long ago.

Constantine from the main universe swallowed hard. He immediately realized that things weren't that simple and hesitated whether he should move away.

But at that moment, he saw a figure on another satellite, on the back of the starship, slowly flying towards him.

It was said that he was on a journey, but it didn't quite seem like it, because as he flew, he circled around to the side, then came to the top of the starship, and finally simply went inside.

Because they were quite far away, Constantine in the main universe couldn't see who it was, but his intuition told him that something was definitely fishy. After thinking for a moment, he also flew towards the entrance of the starship.

Upon entering, Constantine was met with a somewhat indescribable odor, seemingly some kind of hallucinogenic drug. However, the starship was quite clean and tidy, showing no signs of combat.

Constantine walked further in, and when he entered the banquet hall, he saw a tall, dark figure standing there, holding a video camera, seemingly filming something.

"Hey you……"

Before Constantine could finish speaking, the large man turned around. Constantine was taken aback, then said, "Venom? Are you Venom?"

The black slime vanished instantly, revealing Eddie's face behind him. He said, "I'm Eddie Brock. Are you Constantine?"

“Yes, it was me. To be honest, you looked absolutely hot just now.” Constantine from the main universe stepped forward and shook hands with Eddie.

"He flirted with you!" Venom screamed in his mind.

“He’s flirting with you,” Eddie said irritably. “Don’t come out, or he might just touch you.”

"What are you doing here?" Constantine from the main universe asked.

“Of course, I’m here to shoot the news,” Eddie shrugged. “I was originally working as a war correspondent over there, but while wandering around the battlefield, I discovered that two planets inhabited entirely by octopuses were fighting, and one side seemed to be abusing prisoners of war. I followed this lead and came to the vicinity of this ship, but I didn’t expect that guy would be so depraved as to directly attack the planet with the starship’s main cannon. I think he’s definitely guilty of genocide, but I feel there’s more to this story, so I came up to take a look.”

"Stop wasting your breath on him," Venom thought to himself. "There seems to be someone upstairs. I heard some noise. Let's go check it out."

Eddie nodded to Constantine of the main universe, then carried his camera upstairs. Constantine of the main universe followed behind him. The two arrived upstairs one after the other, and then saw several high-ranking officials who frequently appeared in interstellar news strolling out leisurely.

Most high-ranking officials in the interstellar world are from the three major empires. Because the Supreme Intelligence maintains very tight control over the Kree Empire, many of these officials are essentially alter egos of the Supreme Intelligence. Since the Supreme Intelligence is an electronic life form with little personal desire, these officials are generally quite impartial in dealing with issues outside the Kree Empire, and their personal conduct is generally acceptable.

But the remaining two empires were in complete chaos. The Skrull Empire was somewhat better off because most of its citizens had undergone extensive mechanization, but the Shi'ar Empire, from its inception, was a feudal aristocracy, and its intricate and elaborate systems of governance are well-known. These high-ranking officials were also from the Shi'ar Empire.

Eddie and Constantine reacted quickly, instantly disappearing into a small room nearby. Eddie extended the camera, clearly capturing the faces of the group.

“I knew there was something wrong. That Tolos captured his own kind, but instead of killing them, he imprisoned them all and brought them here, apparently to sell them to these officials. But what use do they have for octopuses?”

“Uh…” Constantine paused for a moment and said, “Don’t you think those octopuses are quite beautiful?”

"Um???"

"Their limbs are so flexible, their colors so vibrant, and their suction cups are absolutely fantastic. Oh..."

“Wait a minute,” Eddie said incredulously, “you’re not suggesting that they brought those octopuses here for… God! I mean… God!”

"Of course, their most wonderful aspect isn't their physical abilities, but their mental powers, which allow you to achieve both physical and spiritual enjoyment..."

Eddie looked at Constantine's wistful expression and couldn't say anything. He only felt that his worldview had been severely shaken.

“Don’t look at me like that,” Constantine of the main universe said. “It’s universally acknowledged that this race has always been a serious problem of being trafficked. This shows that my aesthetic sense is normal.”

"vomit!"

"What happened?! Why are so many people suddenly dead?!" Earth's command center was in an uproar. Looking at the grayed-out names, all the commanders were on the verge of collapse.

Death is inevitable in war, but these weren't ordinary, fragile people; they were Spider-Man, Iron Man, and the Fantastic Four! How could they be wiped out without any resistance?! You could at least have sent a message back!

But soon, they received a message from the deceased in the Battle Realm. However, everyone said that they didn't know what happened; they just saw a white light and appeared in the Battle Realm the next second.

"A white light?!" Stark exclaimed in surprise. "Could it be another version of the Omega Ray?! Could it be Darkseid's doing again?"

“It doesn’t seem so,” Natasha shook her head, checking her information interface, and then said, “This time is significantly different from the last time. They felt a noticeable heat, and the death process was slightly longer than when they were hit by Omega rays. It doesn’t seem to be the same energy.”

"What on earth happened?!" Steve was scratching his head. This time the losses were even greater than the last, but they didn't even know what had happened.

But soon, they learned from interstellar news that the planet Centaurus Market had disintegrated. This news was even posted on the interstellar internet by their war correspondent, Eddie Block.

"As we can see in the footage, this once prosperous planet is gradually disintegrating. For safety reasons, I can't get too close, but I've invited a customer who previously made purchases on this planet to tell us in detail what happened. Hello, do you know how this planet disintegrated?"

Eddie was standing on the satellite, with the gradually disintegrating market planet behind him. Many spaceships, which looked like they had come from the main planet, were parked on the satellite.

He was interviewing a purple-skinned alien with four arms. The alien spoke a lot of gibberish in an alien language. Eddie translated, "He said he didn't know how the planet disintegrated, but he felt a very strong tremor. However, his personal terminal told him that the energy fluctuations seemed to be coming from a ship of the Interstellar Security Committee."

"Prior to this, the Interstellar Security Committee had sealed off this planet under the pretext of tracking down fugitives, but according to this customer, he had not seen any fugitives on this planet."

"Just minutes after the explosion, I risked my life to approach the Interstellar Security Committee's starship, entered it, and discovered a shocking secret. Please see the footage I took inside the starship..."

As the scene shifted, they first saw an octopus-like alien creature fly out of the starship; upon entering the starship's interior, they first saw a chaotic banquet hall filled with various kinds of slime, then a seemingly drunken high-ranking official of the Interstellar Alliance; next, the starship's weapon call log was displayed, which clearly stated that just a few minutes ago, the starship's main cannon was charged and fired, targeting the surface of Market Planet.
