Chapter 123 Exploring the Secret Realm

Ling Feng stood at the entrance of the secret realm and took a deep breath. His companions behind him also showed nervous expressions. This expedition was more dangerous than any previous one. Xue Wu clenched the staff in his hand and walked to Ling Feng, "Are we really ready this time?"

The monster roared and swung its huge claws towards Ling Feng. Ling Feng quickly dodged and slashed at the monster's front legs with his backhand. The monster screamed in pain and retreated involuntarily.

"Flame Burst!" Xue Wu's spell was completed, and a ball of blazing flames burst out from her staff and hit the monster's head. The flames instantly surrounded the monster, burning it and making it wail non-stop.

"Now!" Ling Feng seized the opportunity, leaped up, and stabbed the monster's eyes with his long sword. The monster let out a final wail, and its huge body fell to the ground with a bang. After twitching a few times, it completely lost all signs of life.

"Well done!" Lie Yan waved his fist excitedly, "The fur of this monster is an excellent material. We can take it back and make equipment."

Ling Feng nodded, "Let's take out its magic crystal first. This is an important resource for our expedition."

Under Lan Ya's skilled operation, the magic crystal of the monster was successfully taken out, flashing a faint blue light. Ling Feng put the magic crystal into his pocket and continued to move deeper into the secret realm.

As the last rune was deciphered, the altar emitted a faint light. Suddenly, a dazzling beam of light rose from the center of the altar and shot straight into the sky. The stone platform began to shake, and a hidden stone door slowly opened.

"We succeeded!" Ai Lin cheered.

Ling Feng took a deep breath and clenched the sword in his hand, "Everyone be careful, the road ahead may be even more dangerous."

After they stepped into the stone gate, the view in front of them suddenly opened up. A huge underground palace appeared in front of them, and in the center of the palace was a crystal stone emitting mysterious light.

"That's what we're looking for!" Xue Wu said excitedly.

However, just as they were about to move forward, the ground suddenly cracked, and a group of dark shadows emerged from underground and surrounded them.

"Prepare for battle!" Ling Feng drew out his sword again and calmly commanded his companions to fight.
